According to a specialist talking here in the news, the new ones (20-30 years) are build in a better safe structure with more connection points between that "chords" and the bridge... This bridge was already signalized as in very dangerous situation and instead of keep spending money on "maintenance" it would be better a new one

You're going to have to be more specific. Our bridges collapse into the swamp all the time. Seems that building solid structures on highly unstable shifting sandbars and ground that liquefies at the slightest rain shower is a bad idea. But then again where else are you going to build Walmart or McDonalds.

You might be thinking about the one in Atlanta Georgia though. A bunch of utility trucks being stored under the bridge caught on fire and caused a major thoroughfare to collapse. Now there's no direct route through the city and people have to add damn near 1 1/2 hours to their commute instead of the normal 30 minutes.

I remember something about a crosswalk that was in built phase and collapes over an highly movement highway that connects to a university (or something like that). don't know if it's that what jab may be talking

No I do not remember fully. I think it was a still in construction bridge for pedestrians which collapsed somewhere in Florida.

OH YEAH! That whole thing was a total catastrophe that's still ongoing. Meaning the catastrophe is ongoing. The company that built it was shady as hell and cut corners. It was a walkway over a major highway that connected two sections of a university.

VHTV simply can't do that by contract, wich is the reason why I have made the post by myself, so it's my responsibility.

I.just hoping  the stability of the status quo is well, so they can tell anyone who tries to track us back simply not to.
