Curious why the pooch had a procedure.  Last I saw she was energetic. Must have been something internally that required attention. Maybe she finally got fixed?

Not internal. She has a foot bandaged, and would not have been sent home with a cone to prevent her from picking at the bandages.

Leora has been putting some kind of medication on that foot for the last two or three weeks. Possibly an injury that was not healing.

Once she recovers from the anesthesia, she will be bouncing around on three feet for a while. Plus may have to wear the cone to keep her from picking at the sore foot.

The little dogs are resilient, and don't let any thing slow them down. But, they will use their malady to be the center of attention which will be lovingly given by both Leora and Paul.

Indeed on most pet internal cirurgies thy have to stay some days(at least an couple days)in vet,she have bandages at least in one foot,I think sadly was some kind of acident, hopefully wasn't nothing very serious. They love their dog,and honestly when we watch this pets for so much time in cams we kinda care for them.Bet in some time She will be riding,"making sweet love" with that pillow she likes so much hehe.

I think the probability is that Eva has had her Dewclaw surgically removed, In some dogs because the claw is high on the legs it does not make contact with the ground when the dog walks or runs, so therefor it doesn't wear down like other claws and has to be cut like toenails. In some dogs it becomes a nuisance and they chew at it or it gets infected, it is then deemed prudent to remove it.

Dogs being dogs are then prevented from interfering with the healing process by making them wear an Elizabethan Collar, which is what she is wearing now.......Give her a week or so for it to heal and she will be good.

She has been having trouble with these claws for a few months off and on so it's better removed.

The problem of course will not be Eva, it will be Leora and Paul.....Misplaced love and caring will influence whether Leora is disaplined enough to insist that the collar is worn continually, thereby preventing the dog interfering with the healing process.

A small non skid carpet at the end of the bed would help. Plus letting the bedding hang over the end of the bed would give her something to pull herself up with.

That closed style bed frame may be common to the area. But it does not favor the jump[ng canine.

It did not take Leora and Paul long to get it off when they got home !  It will be a challenge.
