Namely, if they do it as well as Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of social media, their algorithms can control our "group" perceptions of reality better than the best Stalinist or Goebbels could ever do. Actually what softened the blow of the price was the barman was planning on coming to Edinburgh for the festival that August so I lashed him up with a few tips on finding decent digs and he chucked in a couple of free beers so a sound guy.
