Well the only thing i'm seeing is defining on software to record/save on external device (usb pen or usb disk) but always goes "through" the computer 
I use bandicam and allows to define that

Does free version work fine, or did you buy it?

The main difference i think it's the watermark that the paid version doesn't have. 

Before i was using the snipping tool from windows.. but required more steps (but also allow you to save where you want)

But of course there are a lot of different tools for screen capture

To be correct there will still be some information saved to your hard drive. Everything you do in your browser is saved in your browser cache or temporary directory. So watching VH will of course leave traces on your hard drive too.

I still use the snipping tool. Never liked Bandicam.

Sad fact, they now removed most of the archive material of the participants who got shut down.. Also some old ones, like Zoi & Tim, Leon & Linda.. ;<

Viki & Kate is still there for some reason.

Bandicam allows me to work always with the size of window i want (also allows to predefine different sizes if full screen or not)
With just a click on photo icon of bandicam i have the photo on my disk

When @zoifan is afraid that somebody discovers porn on his HDD it not be more convenient to use one of these HDD guard programs. 

It takes a Snapshot of your HDD when you start your computer (Without the porn) Now you can do whatever you like when you restart it will just load the snapshot again and your computer is clean again.

A person not very skilled with computers will never find them. There are tools for scanning HDDs for images and they will find them. Or just you have to look manually in the right folders.

But as I said a "normal" person won't find it.

But you do the same system on windows?? because i didn't find that "take a screenshot" . Probably it's from the browser you use or even some extension
