It will certainly go one or another in the next not very many minutes; You are probably correct (again) as Alan appears idle, Jules bored (and Sina also despite her extraordinary patience) and the hosts are not the most experienced or dynamic at making things happen. I have not seen George recently [because I have not looked in the kitchen and seen him playing barman(again)], but if not positively orchestrating events his presence tends to deter the females not encourage them.
