One thing that the Us has always had going for it is critical mass...the population, the lack of separatism, (Texas doesn't count) the fact that in order to move the ball, there are over 300 million people to market to all under one roof. Other countries don't have that advantage. I will say that the US is experiencing some of that fractioning...the cities vote very different than the rest. Private health insurance which allows insurance companies to sell policies across state lines which is presently not allowed, that will increase competition and lower premiums, co-pays and deductibles. Also, allowing insurance companies to tailor health insurance plans to fit the needs of customers. Those type plans are not allowed under the Obamacare.
