Nothing if they established the rule McConnell set, and Graham attested to TWICE.  This is pure hypocrisy AND we're not talking about what democrats would do because that's not an issue at this time.  This will cost the GOP the Senate and presidency.  Suburban women, for one, are even more pissed now.  Not to mention that this country has had enough of the shitty issues the GOP spew forth upon us.  Graham may even lose SC over this.

That's nonsense and you know it you hypocrite

Answer this.. If a Democrat was president and the Democrats held the Senate 53-47 in an election year and a conservative judge had died in September and you had a chance to make the court a 6-3 liberal advantage  for at least the next ten to twenty years , what would you expect the Democrats  to do?

This was the original question. It asked for our thoughts. In other words, peoples' opinions.

His opinion isn't nonsense just because you don't believe it or because it differs from yours. Based on that logic, it could easily be said that your opinion is nonsense because someone else doesn't believe it or agree with it.

He wanted to point out that far more people die of COVID than the flu in democratically controlled states than they do in republican controlled states 😏

Why do you politicize death?  Just curious.

If you look at the chart for all 50+ states, you can see there are more deaths from COVID-19 than from the flu in every state, except five. Republican or Democrat has nothing to do with it. But, you guys keep spouting the psychopath's propaganda just as if it were true.

Most people who belong to Camcaps who have a life outside of this political insane asylum and read my other posts knows that when I put a 😏 after my post it is sarcastic remark.

Yeah, I figured you were being half serious/sarcastic, but I wanted to point out that it wasn't true, sarcasm or not. 👍

The only rule that counts is the U.S. Constitution.   And besides, if Harry Reid had not changed the rules and eliminated the filibuster for judicial nominations Democrats wouldn't need to be concerned about Trump making this appointment because they could stop it through a filibuster.

But the big difference is that there are vaccines for the flu, but no vaccine for covid-19.

Mark Siegel hyperventilated because Joe Biden, instead of saying 200,000, he said 200 million had died of COVID. In Trump world that means you have a serious case of dementia. Even though Trump's many gaffes far outweigh Joe Biden's by the thousands.
