Discussion:2019 Novel Corona Virus (Covid19) and It's Political Ramifications #4

It is always amusing that the left and those that support the left do not themselves take responsibility but blame President Trump for everything. The Feds may suggest protocols and make recommendations but It is the State's responsibility under the framework of the Constitution, to implement procedures necessary for the pandemic and other matters as I have pointed out in previous posts, which you seem to have missed.  However, some Governors and Mayors have gone overboard in their mandates IMO.  But ultimately, it is the responsibility of the citizens to use common sense and follow guidelines such as wearing masks, social distancing, and sanitizing surfaces and washing hands.

And, as I have said in previous posts, I am not left, right, center, Democrat,
Republican, Libertarian or any other political affiliation and never have been.
My only beef is with your psychopath in chief. My sole desire is to see him
run out of this great country on a rail, permanently.

You also know, as well as I, we're talking apples and oranges, here. Sure,
you give the people something to do, guidelines to follow, do this and this,
but don't do that, and it's up to each one to take care of themselves. But,
that's exactly what he refused to do for weeks on end, until it was way too
late to stem the spread of this virus. He is solely responsible, even though
he flatly refuses to take responsibility for anything.

Both Fauci and Birx have said that Trump did exactly what he they advised him to do. On Jan. 21 Dr.Fauci said coronavirus was not a major threat to the people of the United States. In March Dr. Fauci said there was no benefit to wearing a mask as protection from covid-19. In February Nancy Pelosi was standing in a crowd with no mask in San Francisco's Chinatown  encouraging  people to come to Chinatown and celebrate Chinese New Year. In March both Bill DeBlasio and Andrew Cuomo were telling New Yorkers to go about their lives as normal. It was Andrew Cuomo who made the brilliant decision to put covid-19 infected people in nursing homes.  And you say Trump is solely responsible?  LMAO

China's not responsible for the utter disaster your psychopath in chief
has made of this country. China's not responsible for the multitude of
lies he told the American people every time he opened his mouth about
everything being, "...in great shape," "...it's completely under control," etc.
China's not responsible for him sitting on his hands for six weeks until
the stock market tanked a 1000 points in one day before he did anything
to protect the citizens of this country from this pandemic. China's not
responsible for the tens of thousands of lives that could have been saved
if he had actually done what he claimed and got this virus under control
when he first found out about it back in Jan.

China's not responsible for any of that and much more, but as your
psychopath in chief always says, "I don't take responsibility, at all."

China definitely is responsible. Without China there would have been no coronavirus, so there would have been no deaths in the U.S. from coronavirus. Are you too fucking stupid to understand that?

Here is a complete timeline of the COVID and responses to it

Here's a look back on how the coronavirus outbreak began, and how it has unfolded in the U.S. so far.

Highlights

Jan. 24: Americans told 'risk is low'

Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, comments on the risk to Americans. "We don't want the American public to be worried about this because their risk is low," Fauci said. "On the other hand, we are taking this very seriously and are dealing very closely with Chinese authorities."

Jan. 28: 'Monitoring' since December

Alex Azar, secretary of Health and Human Services and chairman of the coronavirus task force, told reporters during a press briefing that the U.S. has "been monitoring this virus and preparing a response since back in December."

Jan. 30: US reports first case of person-to-person transmission

The CDC reported that the first case of person-to-person transmission in the U.S. is the husband of a Chicago woman who developed symptoms after visiting China. "We understand this may be concerning, but based on what we know now, our assessment remains that the immediate risk to the American public is low," said Robert Redfield, director of the CDC.

Jan 31 US Public Health Emergency

The Trump administration declared the coronavirus outbreak to be a public health emergency in the United States, setting quarantines of Americans who have recently been to certain parts of China. CDC officials said it was the first quarantine order issued by the federal government in over 50 years.

Now read the entire report--his administration and he did act in a timely fashion in declaring this an emergency and taking steps to combat the pandemic.
President Trump followed the advice of his "medical professionals" Dr. Fauci, and the CDC--

Once again, apples and oranges. Every time I say one thing, you guys
come back talking about something completely unrelated. Yes, the
virus started in China. Yes, it spread to every country on the planet.
But, NO, that is NOT what I have been talking about. Not even close.

Your psychopath in chief didn't create the virus, but once it got to the
US, he was responsible for doing nothing to stop it for weeks, even
though he claimed to have it completely under control. Lie after lie
after lie. He led the citizens of this country to believe that he was
taking care of everything, when, in fact, he was doing absolutely
NOTHING!

That makes him solely responsible for the disaster this country is
now facing. That makes him unworthy to hold the highest office in
this land, or any other political office. And, he never should have had
it.

Of course, they did. They said exactly what they were told to say,
otherwise, they would have been fired on the spot. He doesn't give
a shit about anyone except himself. His only goal is to win at ANY
cost. That and his greed.

Fauci and Birx have no more integrity than that? Your analysis is laughable.

Donald Trumps only problem is he has lacked being disciplined is his childhood years. He was brought up in a world taught that everyone is supposed to kiss his ass. Now he's indoctrinating his behavior into his offspring as you can definitely see the way they act. They have the same attitude as their father.

Pat yourself on the back when accolades are given and blame everyone else when they fail.

And you are a liar when you say you have no political bias.
