There was already places with cams outside. In most of them they used these reed mats for viewing protection...

here the neighbors have views from higher up, even with hedges it would be difficult, but you never know ...

There have been plenty of apartments that have blind area's. The big difference I think with this place is they won't actively go to these places to hide like what some others do.

So why renting a place with a big garden when they can't go there? 

Scott had to put a cam in his backyard of the big house too and nobody ever went there...
