For the 95987797th time, the ignore function only works if there is a member that posts very much and that you don't at all care about. It doesn't work in a case where you have some members that are constantly throwing insults at everything and everyone, because even if a couple of members are ignoring this user, the offensive post will still stand publicly on the forum to see and react to. If one wanted to quote about another Members Posts then all they would have to do is Mention the Member using the Notification Function. Then the Member who got Mention would receive a Notification they were mentioned. Then when a Member gets placed on Ignore, then they'll never see another post from that Member. An Ignored Member cannot mention another Member using Notification as they'll see a message that Member has chosen to Ignore their Posts. I am done debating this stuff. There will be an Amendment to some of the Rules come the New Year. Perhaps, the tenants don't care what people say and it's part of their fun is to see the crazy ass things people will say about them. Why ruin their fun? Besides, as is very clear, that the tenants have vast power here. If they desire they can terminate all comments here about them if they want to. And yeah it is absolute non-sense to remove the option of quoting. What exactly would that do other than be a minor inconvenience, because if someone really wanted to be a petty shit like they already are, instead of quoting the post all they have to do is tag the person who made the post and then talk their shit like normal.
