StnCld316
You know this old world is full of singers But just a few are chosen They tear your heart out when they sing Imagine life without them All your radio heroes Like the outlaw that walks through Jesse's dreams
TBG 150
It was real music back then. You could understand the words and it didn't have the same annoying banging noises in it. What @StnCld316wrote must have been country. I never really listened to that. Some, but it wasn't my go to genre.

These newer ones that say they're country artists have completely destroyed the meaning of country music. They play more like a rock-hillbilly band than sounding anything near country.

Never once did I ever listen to country music. More often than not, I had the noise box off.
happyone
Here is one of my favorite songs---originally sung by Al Hibbler in 1955 and in 1965 The Righteous Bros hit. Listen first to 1955 the stay tuned immediately for 1965 version --Righteous Brothers then Andy Williams (another great artist)

Surprisingly, the band singing the song made me feel like there was hope left in this sad nation. Thank you for sharing!
