Without massive Republican defections, Democrats will not be in a position to impeach Trump, let alone achieve the two-thirds majority required in the Senate to actually remove him from the Oval Office. He will probably be able to repeat this feat if necessary. IMO - Trump is most likely to win if he runs as an independent candidate himself. I think he’s positioned himself from the beginning to run outside the Republican Party, and frankly I think that’s his best option. (what say you?)
