  1. ;D I've decided I really like Parasite. I hope he comes back. He's as fun as Nick, but he writes in English...
  2. We apparently have been accused of using improper language on this forum. In my defense I can only say to my accuser: "Gee whiz, my dear, I don't give a hoot." ;D ;D ;D
  3. Gee whiz, my furry-tailed friend, you sure are a swell guy, and I like the way you expressed such truth in just a few well-placed phrases. Well aimed, on-target, and gosh darnit, I wish I could've said it the same way. But I think you pretty much covered all the bases for us already... 8)
  4. They did -- at least it looked like that the next day to me. I was wearing flip-flops, so I didn't dare walk on the park grounds (trashed, human feces, hypodermic needles, thousands in damage to a public park.) A friend who attended complained that they wouldn't share food with a homeless man. I also attended a bigger rally at the State Capitol. Families with daughters were talking with mounted state troopers, with the little girls admiring their horses. Little girls love horses. There were enough people to wrap half way around the Capitol building. Thousands. I saw people walking homeless people to nearby shops and buying them food. I saw every color of people, even a young black Marine talking with a Korean War Navy vet about their experiences. They had become brothers that day. I was forced to go to the Capitol the next day on business. It was as if nothing had occurred. Sparkling clean. Guess which rally was arranged by Marxists, and covered in the press, and which rally was hosted by the "evil "Tea Party and had little if any press coverage?
  5. @Parasite I would ask the esteemed Mr. Parasite to read the whole of my posts at CamCaps. The vast majority are of an intellectual nature, and profanity is reserved for comments in which a certain tone or attitude requires their use. You would do well to enjoy the Juke Box thread, especially since most of us, especially Woody, like a vast array of musical genres that often others have missed. You yourself, would be most appreciative of much of the older work. Post links to your favorite musical pieces there. Woody, TBG & I are VASTLY different personalities, having been given entirely different circumstances and traveled radically different paths in our lives; this shows in our posts. We respect one another. For that matter, I even like Nick. At times, he appears as a troll, but he is a harmless one, and merely loves to joust. He makes up for it by posting excellent finds from time to time, keeps us all awake, and he is our resident troll. Dth is probably the kindest, nicest guy on this board. Ozi is an Australian: his interest in military history and current Australian affairs are interesting to me. Observer1 is just that: highly skilled at the art of objective perception. I am not classical a Judeo-Christian, but when Van posts, I take particular interest in his perceptions and wisdom. Same with those members of a socialist persuasion, and I count even many of the Continental European posters (yes, even the UL posters) as friends and worthy of my interest and esteem. If we're going to share cultures, those cultures should be different cultures, and they should be respected. One thing we have in common is a dislike of homogenous group-think. Other than that, we're all quite different, and therefore, interesting personalities. Have a nice day, and welcome to the zoo. (PS: My ancestors founded New Amsterdam. That makes me 10th and possibly 11th generation North American. I have Amer-Asian friends who beat us both on the count.)
  6. @Houlii: You do realize, of course, that RLC camps out here at CamCaps? You might wish to eliminate messages about crafty ways, or they will dispatch a software janitor to fix the problem.
  7. I understand what you mean, but unfortunately, we elect our town's stupid people and send them to Washington to get them off our local streets where they then become rich and tell us how to starve.
  8. Next time you take your millions to pay for your fellow communist's welfare, stop in and pick me up a bag of pecans. Thanks. PS: There are exactly 12 people on this board operating under 475 avatars, and obviously, since they are here in the first place, they are all idiots. ;D
  9. All questions asked on CC are trick questions unless proven innocent. Same with all answers. Like this one.
  10. 1) Finally. Do you know how rare educated newbies are around here? Welcome, Scoobz. 2) I loved her, but I respected her husband and what they were trying to make of their lives. Plus, I'm too old for her. But I would have ravished her in my youth. Repeatedly. And married her. And cooked her perfect steaks. 3) You are alive. You escaped the grip of a goddess of death. Many of my friends were not so fortunate. You have my respect. 4) One day I walked away from Lady Snow, and I never went back to her. I don't regret it. Some love affairs don't work very well in the long run.
  11. Yep, braids. Lots of tiny little strands of braids. I don't mind the style; but it must take a lot of time to prepare. Dreds are different; you simply pay no attention to your hair and the rats take care of the chore when they make their nest on your head. I know my rodent cousins well, though I refuse to associate with them. Call me a rodentia racist, fine, but rats are useless assholes who will steal all your food, trade diseases and fleas like IHOP sells hot cakes, contribute nothing to the body politic, and eat your babies.
  12. Back in the days of the Wild West, public hangings were a terrific social event. You hustle the whole family to them, especially the younger boys, and then, after that, they do not think it's cool to kill people or be a criminal. The "Wild West" was fairly safe from crime once a town was established. People died from diseases and accidents; homicide was rare, and it was quickly avenged. So was horse theft. Maybe Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit and Washington DC should resort to the same educational methods and allow conceal/carry for upright citizens like they did in the Old West. Woody: I'll PM you on why I know this to be a fact.
  13. Gracias a mi amigo. Entiendo. Me gustan tus mensajes.
  14. Please remember to check the fluids in your car before you drive down to the unemployment office.
  15. Regarding stupidity: Why am I still stuck here at CamCaps? Answer: Because it's less painful than having my head smashed by concrete at high speeds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqYiwao_WTg (I kinda figure if my President won't let us fight them, then we can at least ridicule them!) While I'm at it and in a pissed off mood, try these for an exhibition of humans stupidity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZSigyG-BZU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mijjdYtHz-o
  16. Hey, leave me out of this. Only you know of the origin of the one true original Nora's mom. I appreciate Noras mum's spirited defense of me, insomuch as she has given you a large dosage of your own medication, but at this point I would like to ask Admin to appoint a different public defender for me. I do not speak her dialect of English, and she sounds suspiciously like my accuser. Hell, I'd be happier with an attorney that only spoke Klingon! :D
  17. My movie Review: 1) I can't do that. But I'm willing to provide the pole. :P 2) I can't do that. I'm not interested in sticking a phallic instrument next to my mouth and making sounds like Gene Krupa. 3) Admittedly, I'm a sucker for a good magic act. 4) Awesome technology. Show this kind of choreography to our ancestors and they would freak out. 5) Damn effective choreography with a powerful story expressed most poetically. If you liked the last one, check out the work of this brilliant (and beautiful) Ukrainian artist:
  18. Here's a link to absolute stupidity that no American bothered to read, and that even Euro-socialist-weenies would find hilarious: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-111publ148/pdf/PLAW-111publ148.pdf
  19. Now you know why my avatar is a pissed-off Squirrel.
  20. We finally have a woman who I guarantee spends more time with her hair than Leora. Obviously, this woman has patience.
  21. Thank you Ozi. I eat financial information for breakfast. At this point, I think paying $360 to buy the stock is a better deal than subscribing to their service. Their growth rate looks decent, despite their loss of Nora and their new hard-ass DMCA enforcement and cloaking of apartments. And obviously, Turkey's economy is better than mine...(or they're really horny bastards over there! :D)
  22. Start calling people "crackers" instead. It's politically acceptable to call people crackers, and no one will be offended. And last time I checked, you can buy crackers in a multitude of colors. :D (Oh -- and, judging from their demeanor, they probably prefer to do crack, anyway.)
  23. Wow. This thread got miserable quickly. Face it: humans are pathetic.
  24. I'd like to learn something about Marta and David in this thread. But I guess I won't. Unfortunately the English speakers have gone way off topic (as usual, they do this when they get bored) and the Spanish speakers who have the valuable information write in a dialect that makes translate.google.com vomit disconnected chunks of nonsense. :-\
