Prima !! Weiter so !

(Irgend ein CC-Depp wird wohl auch diesen sachlichen Beitrag von mir killen. "Meinungsfreiheit" in den USA gleich null ! Ich schäme mich)

What are US Republicans proud of with their Trump?

The only thing the USA can be proud of regarding the Corona crisis are the daily opera broadcasts from the Met. Otherwise zero!

And that the United States is now emitting fewer pollutants into the environment - and is now protecting the environment without conviction. Fine !! Keep it up !

(Some CC-Depp will probably kill this factual contribution from me. "Freedom of expression" in the USA is zero! I'm ashamed)

I would never want you censored. I enjoy watching you make a fool of yourself talking about things you have no knowledge of.

Some of the individuals have been discharged from the hospital.

ALL This in an Area of 125,000 people, man I starting to actually worry now. They have tested about 10% of my town I live in.
1679/125000=1.35% of the population has the virus.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has a mandate to lead the on-the-ground response to outbreaks of disease in the U.S., pointed to its own website when asked about how closely it tracked testing and what data it has. The CDC website indicates that since March 1, the U.S. has completed nearly 3.2 million tests, and says the data “does not capture all tests performed in the United States.”

While the CDC website hasn't been updated with tests data since April 24, the Covid Tracking Project shows 4.93 million tests up to that point, higher than the CDC’s tally by more than a million tests. As of Thursday, the project had counted more than 6 million tests.

While the White House has insisted for months that the U.S. has excelled at testing, it has often been difficult to gain a complete picture of national efforts. A document released Monday by the administration outlining a nationwide testing strategy contains a footnote crediting data on the number of tests performed to the journalist-led enterprise, without crediting any other sources of information on testing.

Use of the data is something of a surprise, given Trump’s frequent criticism of the news media, its coverage of the outbreak and of the U.S.’s testing capacity in particular. On Tuesday, Trump said on Twitter that they do “nothing but complain” about the U.S.’s testing performance.

The Covid Tracking Project documents in stark numeric detail the government's failure to test for the disease, inhibiting efforts to contain it. The U.S. didn't exceed 100,000 Americans tested for the disease until March 19, more than eight weeks after the first domestic case was reported.

The president frequently cites numbers of tests at press briefings, without giving a source. It’s possible the White House could be compiling its own counts from state, local and other sources, and relying in part on the Covid Tracking Project’s figures as one of several inputs.

I guess our little hole in the wall that feeds the world about 30% of it's beef and pork is far more than the US average in the entire US. 327,000,000/6,000,000=1.83% tested and .34 % infected in the US

SWEDEN’S lead epidemiologist has admitted that their infamous relaxed response to the coronavirus pandemic was a bad idea as the country...

Also...the WHO has lost credibility since it is controlled by China.

Of course, there will be more cases with an open economy because there is more exposure to the virus. The key point is how many of the infected Swedes were hospitalized and how many died? Also, need to profile the hospitalized and dead according to age and underlying health problems. What the correct strategy was will probably not be known for at least three years. It will be interesting to see how the Swedish covid-19 infection, hospitalization and death rates compare to the rest of the world in the next two years of the covid-19 pandemic. The shutdown strategy might look better in the short term, but the Swedish strategy might be the better long term strategy.  The Swedish people may develop a herd immunity which will protect them from covid-19 in the future, whereas people who live in shutdown economies will not have that immunity. Developing a vaccine for covid-19 is no sure thing, we have been looking for an HIV vaccine for 35 years.

If the WHO has lost credibility why did the EU and other members of WHO get so pissed when Trump cut off U.S.funding to the organization?
