elimination contest? whats that?

on Spygasm, viewers had the option to buy tokens and donate them to the participants. so at some point they started an elimination contest, and each week the girl with the fewest number of  tokens was eliminated from the project, and the one with the most tokens would win a prize ( I think it was $1000).

i thought in Estonia adult content was legal 😕

the adult content is legal, but people involved in producing those contents need to have work permit when they are making money out of it ( and of course they should have paid their taxes which I suppose they had not). the immigration police will deport anyone who comes over on tourist visa but then takes on employment and works illegally. even if they were found working in a supermarket they would have had the same fate

Violence, Rape, Police Investigations.

As blue said, the only reason they closed the project was lack of working permits in the EU; all the participants have been working there illegally; in terms of violence, it wasn't more intense that what you can occasionally see during football matches; so after investigation you mentioned, even authorities said, they hadn't had anything against the project itself, but unfortunately participants were not allowed to stay and work in that country, and that's it.

He confused BST and GMT. That was the problem. The place here is GMT-5 and BST-6

GMT is synonymous with UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) because the difference between them is so small. BST (British Summer Time) is the same as DST (Daylight Savings Time) in meaning, but neither are timezone designations. They simply indicate that a country's time is pushed ahead one hour. The correct terminology is GMT/UTC, to indicate the timezones. BST is called GMT/UTC+1. BST and DST are not used to indicate timezones, e.g. BST-5, BST+3, etc.

Right now, it's 6:30 AM in the UK, which is GMT/UTC+1.
It's 1:30 AM in the eastern US and Canada, which is GMT/UTC-5.
And, it's 12:30 AM in Bogotá, Colombia, which is GMT/UTC-6.

There was some violence ( some good fights between guys included lol ). There was also an incident where it looked like one of the guys raped his own girlfriend ( they were very much into BDSM, and at the time Spygasm said they were just role-playing).

but the main reason for their closure was that a religious group which is against porn found out their addresses and reported them to the police ( the religious nutjobs looked for the recent advertised apartments to let in Tallinn (Estonia), and compared them to Spygasms apartments to find matches, and that's how they figured out the addresses ).

Police raided their apartments and found the cameras and other equipments there, and realised they are broadcasting adult contents. they were all deported since all the participants were there on tourist visas with no permission to work in EU.

Spygasm then decided to move them to Colombia, but they faced the same problem there and they had to leave again. at that point they decided to shut it down for good.

it was a good project before they introduced webacams and their elimination contest.

Good morning Blue, hope you are well.

Investigative Journalism at it's best eh.!!!👍😀

They barely made money on there I hope they know that they don't make money if they are offline 😂

Wonder if they realise that no one is interested if they stay dressed all the time 😁
