They take these chinese home security cameras on Ali. They are pretty cheap. And they are not designed for these tasks. Same Ali, there are better cameras with good matrix (but they are more expensive, almost x2). Yes, they can give a good picture. But a cheap phone for $50 with Ali can also take photo like an iPhone12 under some conditions. This does not mean that cheap $50 phone = iPhone as photoshooting. At the same time, managers use even older and cheaper cameras. There are partially non-working cameras like Sofia and Elon for example. No competition = degradation.
