Martina just got some bad news. . . she's quite upset and crying.  It involves a couple of letters and a DVD, it looks like.

Alberto was comforting to begin with but now after reading the material and checking his phone, he's not so much.

For some reason, the DVD didn't work.

The paper looked like it had an official letterhead on it, but the envelope didn't look like it was mailed. . maybe hand delivered.

Yes I thought it looked official - maybe something to do with her course work, but why a DVD?

I think it's medical results - that would explain the letter and DVD, and I think I caught some medical type words in their conversation (I generally think my Spanish is pretty good, but I really struggle to understand these two. I'm used to Argentine Spanish though, which has a very different sound).

Something official with DVD makes no sense. To be honest, DVD in itself is really strange. The format is totally outdated by now, isn't it?

Now that I can see the envelope better, it does look like it came in the mail.
