I'm sure that she was just as much involved in a decision to get her friend to go there as her friend was. Guess she should have thought about it more before then. As they say, 'hindsight is 20/20'. But, I do recall many times when she seemed quite lonely herself after her first month or two there herself. I don't for one moment dispute that she wanted Malia to visit, but whether it was planned to last so long I wouldn't hazard a guess, but I think Covid 19 had some influence on the longevity, and once it was safe to travel again it would possibly be difficult to tell a friend to leave. Mädchen aus dem Osten Europas denen oft nichts anderes übrig blieb, damit sie gut leben konnten. Als Amerikaner sicherlich schwer verständlich. Und noch etwas: leisten sie ständig gute, fehlerfreie Arbeit ? Ich glaube kaum.
