The well off country's have already almost destroyed or ruined many of the weaker ones for their own financial benefit which is sad and wrong and still continue to do so. So enjoy your domination for as long as it lasts. The freedom that you describe here in such detail is an illusion. GB will have to continue to enter into trade agreements in the future. Considering the volume of trade, the EU will be the most important partner here and in the negotiations GB will certainly not be able to negotiate on an equal footing. There is a clear framework provided by existing treaties and cannot simply be neglected. The negotiations with the USA will certainly not be easy either. Trump has no friends and America first will certainly not exempt GB. Just how much external powers are interested in dividing Europe (not just Trump) shows how important and useful it would have been to stay together. That is what disappoints me most about Brexit. Europe is weakening as a result and losing negotiating power. The game is no longer between countries as small as GB, France or Germany. Whoever wants to negotiate with the USA or China at eye level needs size. Maybe so but at least it will be our choice and not having to pay billions for the privilege of this so called free trade as free it sure wasn't. Yes, a choice between worse than before and much worse than before. 😉 I think also the story about the money is a misinterpretation. First of all a good part of the money flows back directly. Some of it also indirectly through e.g. Joint european research projects and so on. Then there is the question of the economic loss. Trade will become more difficult (or even much more difficult) and especially areas such as the banking sector will have to reduce a lot. Larger European companies, such as Airbus, could leave the UK in the medium or long term. Ultimately, the Brexit will be a loss for all in the EU and UK. It's just a bloody joke all sacrificed on the altar of power for some over all country's. At present out of the 28 country's in the EU only 10 contribute whilst 18 sponge off those 10. The UK being the 2nd highest contributor in 2017 latest figures show. What a great club eh 😁. And they still want more to join to continue the sponging. Initially our people joined what we thought was a Common Market having been lied to from the start.
