I saw that, too, and it reminded me that I had also seen season two. If I remember correctly, the first two seasons were fairly close to each other. Or, it could have been that I just watched season one late and season two started soon after I finished the first one. I'm not sure, but they were both good. 1

Maybe even reinforce the reboot that we already have in cinema. 1

The Discovery and Picard aren't in the same timeline as the rebooted Star Trek, but they do leave some interesting questions. 1
