But seems they don't care about it. I haven't seen a thing similar to this in any Russian place on VHTV yet... Also the cables in the hallway they call livingroom are a total mess and only a matter of time til somebody stumbles there or they will just stop working... That's right. I am not worried about the electricity. Rather that somebody stumbles and falls or the cables near the radiator catch fire 1

In fact, it's the ONLY way you can open these sealed containers, and the procedure in and of itself can be rather dangerous, as it leaves an incredibly jagged edge on the top piece that you could kill someone with (those Russians think of everything - run out of 640 rounds? Use the can lid for defense!). But it does give the forearms a good workout. I haven't seen an electric can opener in any of their kitchens, so maybe Chef Kira prefers the manual style to help keep her own "guns" in shape LOL. 2

I present two pics of my very own personal Miracle Roll can opener, inherited from over two generations, and the only can opener I use to this day. She's a bit rusty but still trusty after countless decades. The funny part is watching the youngins try to operate this extremely complicated piece of machinery LMAO. 1 1
