I gave blood last week. Instructions were to wear a mask if possible, so I did. The donors were all well spaced out (work stations, not drugs ha) and the nurses were all wearing masks. When I told the nurse asking initial questions that my glasses were steaming up, she said just take it off, it wasn't mandatory...so I did 😆

When I am out and about I carry a mask in my shirt pocket but I only wear it if the place I am entering has a sign posted masks must be worn before entering.  Most places do not apply that rule and that's solely upon the merchant.  I prefer not wearing them but I carry one just in case.
