Well looking at the old dog, it is clear that the Vet had to shave hair in several spots in order to see what was wrong or to inject medication or IV's.  Let us all hope he has a comfortable days ahead, how ever many there are.

* Any time I pop into M&A's, the dog is always lying asleep on the floor.  Even for an elderly dog it does seem to be very lethargic, and this does give cause for some concern.  It does have slight difficulty when getting up from the floor (the floor is quite slippy, this doesn't help).  It almost seems like the dog was sleeping-away its final days.  However, as you say " Let us all hope he has a comfortable days ahead, how ever many there are" ... we can only remain positive.
