Basing this on how RLC and CC was like back in the very early days, everything worked because the type of crowd here on CC that only demands nudity and sex didn't exist back then. RLC may have only had regular couples that had regular sex and didn't walk around naked all day, but here we discussed more practical things like their daily activities, the dynamic of their relationships, special interest or hobbies they may have been interested in, etc. There was much more objective discussions about the participants and a much bigger admiration for the entire couple instead of what it is now where everybody kisses the girls ass and looks for any and every excuse to bad mouth the boyfriend. There were times when members here on CC would actually watch the movies the couples were watching with them. Sex didn't happen every other 5 minutes so when it did happen it was much of a big deal and special occasion for us.

After a while, the couples all started to look and act the same and there was nothing special that really differentiating between them. The niche of just being able to watch people live their lives was starting to fade, at least for some of the original members. I think the two major influences that inspired this big change in the voyeur site was the start of the Barca apartment and the start of VV. Both were so far and different from what RLC had done in the past and it stated to attract a brand new audience and expectations about what people wanted to see became drastically different which is why VH now is doing well. Of course this is just my opinion.

@Foamy T. Squirrel was here from the beginning and I'm sure he could maybe add some more opinion and insight on this topic as he is more articulate than I am. In fact I would love to hear what he has to say about this.

I think you explained it quite well. The couples had plenty of sex, but they were also "real" people, the types of couples that could live next door to you. We talked about their personalities and the dynamics of their relationships.

RLC was much more faithful to its initial Mission Statement back then.

I wasn't here in the beginning. Kitek, JoJo, Woof and NL had been around several months before I signed on with my original Squirrel persona.

I can see there is an audience for both things..some people really enjoy just watching people cooking and eating and watching tv and just seing beautiful girls doing about nothing special and they would be Totaly satisfied with that,then other Voyuer type want more tings,more explicit things,but not like an porn movie type,more like an mix of real life with..sex..that's were VH and others came sites enters(in my personal opinon),it's not the the "cold" porn it's more personal and we know this "persons" and create bonds,likes and dislikes..well..just an little personal view.

The old RLC days was more of a mix of real life with sex. 

And I don't understand why some of you have to put some kind of simple minded divide between people who only want to watch people fuck and people who enjoy other aspects of people. Here's a crazy concept for some of you: some of us actually enjoy BOTH things.

RLC was the gateway for me. That's where I first became aware of these type of sites. Nelly was my fave, but I found a few other ones just as endearing. Then I stumbled onto CC & had my world opened up. VHTV hooked me with Layla (Yes, I'm a Boob man). 

I blasted open my wallet & haven't regretted a moment of prem with VHTV. Here's the kicker for me, its the great conversations & sharing that happens here in CC that I find makes the voyeurism of watching VHTV fun. Funny moments shared, different opinions visited, & just a nice feeling of being with like minded pervs.

But the key is both. Not just non sex things. Sex & nudity or at least the possibility must be there along with the everyday things. The xgswhoever apt doesn't belong on vh.

And lets be fair with Rlc if was just to watch routine day to day things their houses(at least the best ones)look better and are nicer to fallow,at least in my opinion.If it was just for an voyeur user,to watch people day to day things,like watch tv,dinner,etc think Rlc it's nicer.

True. If  vhtv would have decide to show so called real life instead of explicit sex, 80% of subscribers (including me) will be gone.
But they put on this model and so far they're winning. RLC is still first, but definitely  losing subscribers. Apart of that, look, how long they're on the market to compare to vh.

You are 100% correct,if VH one day have barca places,k&k type houses etc then it's almost better to just subscribe Rlc.(more houses).Vh in my opinion it's better because delivers more sex,variety without all that  tease thing,that's why i gladly pay them.

RLC was more like a soap opera and now it's more of a commercialized sex party, which made it more interesting for many of us. But you're correct about the last part. We dottering old fools get nostalgic when we remember when we drooled because we saw a sultry girl. Now we just drool and wet our depends for no reason at all. The good thing is that we now have more apartments and more sites like VHTV, VV, and Camarads, so there's something for everybody regardless of their proclivities. The amount of our traffic for the newer sites-- especially VHTV is astounding, and I'm very happy that these sites are doing well.
