Hey Nack, I hope I didn’t give an impression that I have anything against India or Punjab. I have close friends from there. I am working with an offshore team that have member from India as well. Really good engineers and so easy to work with. It is a pleasure except it is hard to get good sleep working with folks in IST timezone 😉 My point in my post is that it is an important skill to hire qualified people form offshore. It is even more important to know how to manage an offshore team. Many businesses fall in offshore money saving trap and try to outsource without much of experience how to manage an offshore project end to end. When I work with the VH Archive user interface I get a sense that it has a reasonable foundation, but it suffers from some bad feature extensions. Typical scenario that a business owner has a good idea, but don’t want to spend money to properly implement it. Also, since this is a sensitive topic for you, your people should might want to put some pressure on your government to put an end to so many scam calls from India - such as tax, technical support, duct cleaning ... you name it.
