Cuomo and the news media criticized Trump for not supplying those ventilators. As it turns out New York needed less than 6,000 ventilators and they never ever had a shortage. When your Country goes to War you give everything to the Soldiers to make sure they have everything to fight with. Hospitals are the same way the workers should have all the supplies they need at their disposal to fight this thing. New York was the hot spot so there was no telling how many ventilators at one time. What if the Federal government had depleted their supplies by trying to give new York all they requested, and then we had a big outbreak in another part of the country? Then you give each state what it wants. When they don't need them any longer send them to the national stockpile so they'll be ready for another outbreak when it comes along.
