I have contributed several times in this thread with factual contributions to elucidating the subject of "corona", ventilation and medical backgrounds.

The answers and reactions were always flat from ignorant people who are just looking for junk. Too bad, because the topic is really serious.

People who call thoughtful posts "bullshit" are apparently immature to discuss the demanding topic. Let it be - bye bye.

I'm not angry with you - everyone is as they can.

You have Starlight, but it's a shame that you then try and make it so it appears to be a competition, and Germany is top of the league!...That's my issue, not the factual stuff...I believe we both have medical backgrounds...
You're hypocritical by suggesting everyone throwing insults around, but you're as guilty as anyone...just saying...

I believe we should all be pulling together in these difficult times, not trying to get one over on each other...

I have the impression that our German friend feels growing up thinking that his country is better than the others with regard to the management of the covid
A fair reality, Germany soon reaches 4,000 dead in his country so it's far from a victory if you ask me because they have passed China (even if China is not a guarantee of franchise)
And then everything also depends on the way of calculating and giving the information of the statistics, moreover does in these figures, Germany take into account the deaths in the organizations of health for old people like can make it France?
Maybe it's true that Germany is doing better than the others, or maybe it's not and they are the same as the other countries

I just think that during this period, we have to know how to stay humble

3,625,000 Americans have been tested for the corona virus, 672,200 confirmed cases, 34,310 deaths, 54,510 recovered.

18.54% positive results, .86% death rate to cases tested, 5.11% death rate to confirmed cases, 8.11% recovered from severe cases I presume as most confirmed cases are restricted to quarantine for 14 to 21 days.

The average cost for the new Covid-19 test is 51.91 = $188,173,750 in which the federal government has paid for and will continue to pay for all Covid-19 testing. The US congress in the 2.2 trillion bailout put back 200 billion for hospitals and uninsured medical treatment for those without insurance for whatever reason.

According to the Herald, Osmel Martinez Azcue had been to China for work and returned to Miami in January with “flu-like symptoms.” He went to Jackson Memorial Hospital since he worried that he may have contracted the new coronavirus disease, now called COVID-19. The initial cost for his visit was $3,270, billed to his insurance company.

If the federal government would have not stepped in and covered the cost of all testing for Covid-19 it could be $10,676,550,000 just for initial testing and not including medical treatments.

Scientists Pinpoint 2 Causes Behind China’s Deadly Coronavirus – They’re Both Shocking

Scientists identified two possible root causes of Coronavirus: the consumption of wildlife such as bats in Wuhan and potential leak of virus. Published:

January 27, 2020 9:22 AM UTC

After missing the crucial containment window, scientists are blaming two fundamental factors that're likely behind the coronavirus outbreak. |

  • Scientists narrowed down causes of Coronavirus to cross-species transmission of the pathogen from bats or snakes, and potential laboratory leak in Wuhan.
  • SARS and MERS were also said to have been caused by bats in 2004.
  • Hong Kong and China have declared a state of emergency as confirmed cases of the virus rapidly increase.

Scientists have identified two possible root causes of Coronavirus: the consumption of wildlife such as bats in Wuhan and the potential leak of the virus at a well-protected center.

Both Mers and SARS, two deadly respiratory diseases caused by Coronavirus, were also suspected to have been caused by bats.

Cause #1: Bat eating in Wuhan, 2019-nCoV found in snakes spreading Coronavirus

When the Coronavirus outbreak was first publicized, scientists theorized that the Coronavirus likely spread from bats to snakes, and eventually to humans. The Wildlife Conservation Society said on January 23 that unregulated wild animal trading leaves areas vulnerable to virus spillover. In recent weeks, Chinese influences and streamers were heavily criticized by the public for releasing videos of consuming bats. Wang Mengyun, a Chinese celebrity, apologized after a video of her eating a fried bat in 2017 went viral. Whether Coronavirus or other forms of the virus can be transferred to humans after being fried or exposed to high heat remains unclear. Studies suggest that the virus is likely to have spread when managing live bats in the poorly regulated live animal market. The Journal of Medical Virology said that the 2019-nCoV of snakes is likely to have caused cross-species transmission from snakes to humans.

The study read:

Our findings suggest that snake is the most probable wildlife animal reservoir for the 2019‐nCoV based on its RSCU bias resembling snake compared to other animals. Taken together, our results suggest that homologous recombination within the spike glycoprotein may contribute to cross‐species transmission from snake to humans.

Currently, scientists believe it is either bats, snakes, or both that led the deadly Coronavirus to spill in inexpertly run live animal markets in Wuhan and other parts of China.

Cause #2: Potential leak from a facility studying the virus

In 2017, China established the Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory to study some of the world’s most powerful virus and pathogens. At the time, New Jersey-based Rutgers University molecular biologist Richard Bright said that many things can go wrong with the laboratory. He said that when testing pathogens on animals like monkeys, there is a possibility it can leak through various ways. “These facilities are inherently dual use,” said Ebright, noting that the monkeys that are being tested could show volatile behavior.

He said:

They can run, they can scratch, they can bite.

Based on the development of the virus and the studies that have emerged in recent weeks, cross-species transmission from bats or snakes to humans is a more likely cause of the Coronavirus than a possible facility leak. Scientists are reluctant towards completely dismissing a facility leak as a potential cause of the Coronavirus outbreak because of the SARS leak in 2004. Indeed, there’s increasing speculation that the Wuhan Institute of Virology may have inadvertently leaked the Coronavirus

The Chinese economy and the stock market have trembled following the outbreak, causing significant instability in the country

China says WHO has said no evidence coronavirus was made in a lab

BEIJING (Reuters) - China’s foreign ministry said on Thursday the World Health Organization has said there is no evidence that the coronavirus that has infected more than 2 million people globally was made in a lab.

Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian made the remark in response to a question about accusations the coronavirus originated in a lab in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where the epidemic first emerged in late 2019.

There is increasing confidence that the COVID-19 outbreak likely originated in a Wuhan laboratory, though not as a bioweapon but as part of China's attempt to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China's government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.

This may be the "costliest government cover-up of all time," one of the sources said.

The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus – a naturally occurring strain that was being studied there – was bat-to-human and that "patient zero" worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan.

The “increasing confidence” comes from classified and open-source documents and evidence, the sources said. Sources emphasized -- as is often the case with intelligence -- that it’s not definitive and should not be characterized as such. Some inside the administration and the intelligence and epidemiological communities are more skeptical, and the investigation is continuing. What all of the sources agree about is the extensive cover-up of data and information about COVID-19 orchestrated by the Chinese government.

NOW, WHO WOULD FUND THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANZATION WHEN THEY HELP COVER UP THE TRUTH ? THE US SPENDS ABOUT 420 MILLION A YEAR TO FUND THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANZATION, CHINA SPENDS ABOUT 38 MILLION.

The biennial WHO budget for 2020-2021 has been set at $4.84 billion. President Trump announced Tuesday that the U.S. is placing a hold on funding to the World Health Organization for 60–90 days over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic, pending a review.

Driving the news: Trump accused the WHO of "severely mismanaging and covering up" the coronavirus crisis, adding that the U.S. "has a duty to insist on full accountability."

  • "With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have deep concerns whether America’s generosity has been put to the best use possible," Trump said at a briefing in the Rose Garden.
  • "If we cannot trust them, if this is what we will receive from the WHO, our country will be forced to find other ways to work with other nations to achieve public health goals."

By the numbers: The WHO's 2018–2019 budget was about $6 billion, and the U.S. is by far the biggest donor of any country, contributing more than $400 million to the organization last year.

  • "American taxpayers provided between $400 million and $500 million per year to the WHO. In contrast, China contributes roughly $40 million a year, or even less," Trump said Tuesday.
  • "As the organization’s leading sponsor, the United States has a duty to insist on full accountability. One of the most dangerous and costly decisions from the WHO was its disastrous decision to oppose travel restrictions from China and other nations.”

And what if Donald Trump is wrong.  The WHO could bring Slanderous Charges against him.  He won't be able to blame anyone for his ignorance but himself as the words came directly from his own mouth. He has been wrong many times before so his track record does not put him in a very good position.

Ridgerunner will likely dispute it though as he's a true die hard Trump Ass Kisser.

SOMETHING SMELLS

I am not concerning myself with spats between Peter Navarro and Dr. Anthony Fauci, or the insidious back and forth regarding the relief of command for the Commander of the USS Theodore Roosevelt. Instead, I have been poring over many articles and research on the origin of the Wuhan Chinese coronavirus. I have taken it upon myself to collate some thoughts and perspectives I have read and combined them with my own.

It cannot be debated, we have been hit with a massive biological agent. The question is not whether there was intent, but rather the level of intent. Sure, there are such things as coincidences, but in this specific case, nah. The indicators, trends, and warnings all lead to a simple, and reasonable, deduction.

Wuhan to Shanghai = 839 km
Wuhan to Beijing = 1,152 km
Wuhan to Milan = 8,684 km
Wuhan to NY = 12,033 km

The coronavirus started in Wuhan, yet there has been no major effect of Chinese coronavirus in nearby Beijing or Shanghai. Yet, there have been many deaths in Italy, Iran, European countries, and America.  All business areas of China are now safe, so declared by the Communist Chinese government.

America is not just blaming China without a reason. The virology lab that does research on bats that carry the coronavirus is in Wuhan. The Chinese Army’s biological research lab is in Wuhan. The university that is connected to the Harvard University biology and chemistry professor who was arrested in January is the Wuhan University of Technology. As for the two doctors who treated the first cases of the Wuhan coronavirus, one is dead, the other is missing.

Even today, India is locked down, yet all the cities of China are open. China has also announced the opening of Wuhan beginning April 8th. Not a single leader in China has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

The virus has ruined many economies around the world. Many have had to close their borders in an attempt to contain and control the spread of the coronavirus. Thousands have lost their lives, millions have been exposed to this pestilence, countless people have been locked in their homes, and many countries have placed their citizens on lockdown.

The coronavirus originated in the city of Wuhan in China. We are told its origin is out of a wet market. Yet, these same wet markets remain open. Did someone release one of the lab bats into the local wet market? The Wuhan coronavirus has now reached every corner of the world, but the virus did not have deadly consequences in China’s capital of Beijing nor China’s economic capital of Shanghai, located in close proximity to Wuhan itself.

Or maybe it has and we just do not know about it?

Today, Paris is closed. New York is closed. Berlin is closed. Delhi is closed. Mumbai is closed. Tokyo is closed. Many of the world’s major economic and political centers are closed, but Beijing and Shanghai are open. No major Wuhan coronavirus effect is seen in either city, or so we have been told. There were only a few cases reported, and from those reports, it would seem the virus had no detrimental effect on Beijing and Shanghai.

Beijing is the city where all the leaders of China live, including their military leaders. There is no lockdown in Beijing. Shanghai is the city that runs China’s economy. It is the economic capital of China, where all the rich people of China live and run major industries. There is no lockdown there, there is no major, visible, effect of the Wuhan coronavirus there. Beijing and Shanghai are the areas adjoining Wuhan. The virus from Wuhan reached every corner of the world, but, it appears, has not had major ramifications on Beijing and Shanghai?

Another interesting point of order is that the worldwide share market has fallen by almost half. In India, the Nifty has gone from 12,000 to 7,000, but the share market in China was at 3,000 and just merely dropped to 2,700.

This is why there are those who speculate that the Wuhan coronavirus is a biochemical weapon of China, which China used to carry out destruction in the world in order to gain economic, and potentially military, supremacy.

According to the ChiComs, China has now put this virus under control, maybe they also have the antidote/vaccine that they are not sharing with the world, or even will do when it is in their best interest to do so. We do know that China threatened to cut off medical supplies that are produced in China to the United States. If there is any valid reason to cut off our supply chains from China, and bring them home for production and manufacturing, that is a primary one.

China is not our ally, they are our geopolitical foe.

Hollywood stars, Australia’s Home Minister, Britain’s Prime Minister and Health Minister, Spain’s Prime Minister’s wife, Canada’s Prime Minister’s wife, and Britain’s Prince Charles, among others, have contracted the Wuhan coronavirus. However, not a single political or military leader in China has been reported as testing positive for the Wuhan Chinese coronavirus.

China has refused to allow our Center for Disease Control (CDC) experts to investigate the origins of this pandemic. China has expelled foreign journalists. China has enacted a propaganda campaign to blame the United States military. China has sold their own Wuhan coronavirus test kits and masks to several countries, such as Spain, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. They were found to be defective.

The close associations between the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) and China have been well established. Just recently, the United Nations gave China a seat on the Human Rights Commission. We all know that China has a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.

Mr. President, China’s dictator Xi Jinping is not your friend, and you do not have a “great relationship” with Xi. China is, without a doubt, a murderous tyrannical communist regime that is running concentration camps for the Uighurs in western China. They are a repressive communist regime that cares little about their own people. We have seen their brutality evidenced in Hong Kong. We know that their goal and objective is global dominance and supremacy. One only needs to read their “One Belt, One Road” national strategy to ascertain that. This past Sunday, I watched the James Bond movie “Spectre,” the symbol of that organization was an octopus.

Ladies and gents across the world, we are watching a real diabolical octopus with its tentacles spreading out all over the world. China is a dark specter. China has committed crimes against humanity on a global scale. Instead of our pointing fingers at each other about national response times, let us point our gathered, collective, finger at the one that has caused the deaths of our brothers and sisters — and the decimation of our respective economies — that is China.

Yes, something smells about this whole thing, and that stench comes from one place: China.

And if Trump is correct, then what?   Need an in depth, unbiased investigation of China and  WHO's handling of coronavirus going all the way back to September, 2019.

But I doubt the USA is unbiased against China. This investigation should be done by a political neutral country like Switzerland or Norway...

The World needs to open it's eyes, and all of this suffering right now needs to be biased against China. The facts don't lie. More exposure of the truth everyday.
